Structural steel fabrication software, piece mark to erection.

Tekla models, SolidWorks STEP files, PDFs and CSVs come in as they are, and every piece mark is tracked from the drill line to the erection sequence. MTRs, UT and bolt certs stay with the steel. Your own system, with your name on it.

MONDAY MORNING

Before the system.

The coper ran the old NC file.

The shop drawing revised Thursday. The NC file at the coper did not, and six beams came off the line wrong.

The load went out of sequence.

The erector needed column line C. The truck brought D, because D was what was done, and the crane waited.

The inspector asked for the MTR.

The heat number was on the beam. The MTR was in a binder in the office, and the UT report was on somebody’s laptop.

We’ve had these Mondays. ARCIFAB is what we made so we’d stop having them.

WHAT IT TRACKS

What you see on every piece mark

Tekla, STEP, PDF and CSV in

Tekla models, SolidWorks STEP files, PDFs and CSVs come in as they are. Nobody re-types a piece mark.

Piece marks, start to finish

Every piece mark carries its shop drawing, its single-part drawing and where it is right now.

Revs that reach the machine

When a shop drawing revs, the NC file at the drill line and the coper revs with it, before the next beam is cut.

Remnants with their heat number

Plate and shape remnants go back on the rack with their heat number, so the next job uses them first.

CJP welds and UT

Fit-up, CJP welds, UT results and the inspector’s sign-off stay with the piece mark.

MTRs and bolt certs

Every heat number tied to its MTR and every bolt lot to its cert, ready for turnover.

Loads in erection sequence

Trucks load by sequence and column line, from steel that is complete, painted and checked.

Tons a week, by fitter

What each fitter and welder put out this week in tons, against a good week.

The erector on a tablet

The field receives the load against the shipping list and marks each piece erected, even with no signal.

HOW IT RUNS

One flow, from the model to erection

01

Model in

Tekla, STEP, PDF or CSV becomes the piece list, by erection sequence.

02

Cut, drill, cope

Every piece tracked at the saw, the drill line and the coper.

03

Fit, weld, inspect

Fit-up, CJP welds and UT logged before the piece can ship.

04

Ship and erect

Loaded in erection sequence, received and marked erected from a tablet.

YOUR OWN SYSTEM

Your name on the login. Yours after 90 days.

We walk your floor, set the system up around how you deliver, and put your name on it. You pay once to have it made, then a yearly rate to host it and keep it running, which changes only with data capacity. Add a fitter or a welder and the price stays put. Add a trade later and we scope it on its own. Five years on, the system and every job in it are still yours.

QUESTIONS STEEL SHOPS ASK

Before the demo.

What files does it read?

Tekla models, SolidWorks STEP files, PDFs and CSVs. We read it all, so nobody redraws the job to get it into the system.

Does it keep MTRs and bolt certs with the steel?

Yes. Every heat number is tied to its MTR and every bolt lot to its cert, so the turnover package is ready when the last piece ships.

Can it ship in erection sequence?

Yes. Loads are built by sequence and column line from what is complete, and the erector receives and marks each piece from a tablet, even with no signal.

Do you handle infrastructure and government steel?

Yes. Every piece mark keeps its MTR, UT results and bolt certs, loads ship in erection sequence, and your data lives in its own system behind single sign-on.

How long until the shop is on it?

Ninety days, in three 30-day steps, with two visits to your shop. The next 21 months go into making it fit your floor.

NEXT STEP

Bring a shop drawing.

Bring a Tekla model, a shop drawing or a piece mark list. We will show you what the system looks like set up around how your shop cuts, fits and ships.
